To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Estonian Men's Singing Society, the concert "Kõik on alles ees" will be held on June 15, 2024 at 18:00 on the Rakvere Vallimäe stage, where 1,500 singers from 25 male and 25 boy choirs will together perform works from the golden treasure of Estonian male choral music, as well as new compositions by Jaan Pehki and Jaan Tätte. The program prepared by the concert's artistic director, conductor Kuldar Schüts, covers music throughout the ages. Director Mikk Jürjens creates a magical atmosphere in a concert venue with modern architecture at the foot of an ancient fortress, which adds power to male singing. According to Indrek Vijardi, chairman of the Estonian Men's Singing Society, choral music has always been a source of Estonians' self-awareness and pride. According to him, the scale of the event shows the vitality and hopeful future of male singing.
