Over the years the choir has built an impressive record: the Grand Prix at the Cantemus International Choral Competition in Hungary, the Grand Prix at Riga Sings in Latvia, and first prizes at competitions in Tallinn, Italy, Spain and Croatia. The girls perform regularly in Estonia and abroad, appear at Estonia's National Song Festivals, and collaborate with leading Estonian orchestras, choirs, composers and conductors.
The choir is led by Ingrid Körvits, one of the conductors of the Estonian National Song Festival and a sought after juror at international choral competitions. Together with vocal coach Egle Veltmann and accompanist Andres Lemba, she shapes a sound that has earned recognition far beyond Estonia.
In Prague they will compete in the Youth Choirs category with a programme spanning Veljo Tormis, Arvo Pärt and Moravian folk poetry set by Otmar Mácha.
