This two-part concert project, presented as part of the Estonian Chamber Choirs Association’s concert series “For the Listener” (Kuulajale), brings together high-quality choral music and regional cultural exchange, uniting Noorus Mixed Choir and Saaremaa Upper Secondary School Mixed Choir on the same stage. The project features two concerts – one in Tallinn (18 October 2026) and the other in Kuressaare.

Noorus Mixed Choir will perform selected works from Veljo Tormis’s monumental choral cycle Forgotten Peoples, which has recently received a warm reception from international audiences in North America, including Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Saaremaa Upper Secondary School Mixed Choir will present its own programme, showcasing youthful energy and the vitality of the local choral tradition through a diverse selection of works by Estonian composers.

The concert will culminate in a joint performance by both choirs, presenting selected gems from the classical choral repertoire.
