The county expert groups of the Cultural Endowment of Estonia award annual prizes each year with the aim of recognising outstanding individuals in the fields of culture and sports in their respective counties, and of valuing consistent and dedicated activity within the local community.

Annual Award

Ulvi Rand – for leading the celebration of the 95th anniversary of Veljo Tormis’ birth.
Iti Teder – for coordinating the events marking the 95th anniversary of Veljo Tormis’ birth.

The annual awards and recognition awards were presented on 10 February at the Estonian Drama Theatre.

Lifetime Achievement Award

Taavi Esko – for his long-standing contribution to the development of choral music in Harju County.

The Lifetime Achievement Award and the Cultural Pearl recognition were presented at the end of the year at the Harju County Ball at the Estonia Theatre.
