The Veljo Tormis Cultural Society received the title of Harju County NGO of the Year 2025!

The Veljo Tormis Cultural Society was recognized for building a bridge between a timeless legacy, international stages, and the local community—bringing cultural light to Kuusalu and carrying the great master’s work forward with dignity to future generations. This is a tribute to dedication, consistent effort, and heartfelt cultural engagement.

In addition, the Tormis 95 event series at Kõrveaia, organized by the Veljo Tormis Cultural Society, was nominated in the Aasta Tegu 2025 category—a significant acknowledgment for the entire team and supporters.

A total of 120 nominees were submitted across 12 categories for the Harju County Person of the Year competition—competition was strong and the overall standard exceptionally high.
