In February 2026, a new original Estonian opera Libahunt (“The Werewolf”) will premiere on the stage of the Vanemuine Theatre (composer Margo Kõlar, director and librettist Ivar Põllu). Before this landmark premiere, soprano Pirjo Jonas (as Tiina in the production) and concertmaster Piia Paemurru will perform to showcase the richness of Estonian classical opera singing culture. Beautiful works by Estonian composers will be heard, and the audience will be introduced to the world of the upcoming Libahunt.
