Singer, choirmaster and traditional music teacher Celia Roose has conducted the Laulusumm events on several occasions and they have always been met with lively interest. Those events have been held at the composer's birthplace Kõrveaia, also at Kaikamäe, Viljandi Folk Music Festival, Hiiu Folk Festival and Estonian Culture Days in New York. Ants Johanson himself is a folk musician and musicologist.

This time Laulusumm will be in Tartu, at Karlova School and will be performed by the Tartu Student mixed choir. Everyone interested in Tartu, folk singing and Tormis, are very welcome to sing along, join in and participate.
