In celebration of Mother Tongue Day, the concert will feature some of the brightest masterpieces of Estonian choral music, along with timeless and deeply moving patriotic works.

The programme includes music by Alo Mattiisen, marking his 65th anniversary, and works by Lembit Veevo in honour of the composer’s 100th anniversary. Also featured are pieces by Veljo Tormis, Arvo Pärt, René Eespere and others. The concert is woven together by foundational texts of Estonian poetry and improvisatory folk song arrangements.
