Our second “Sweater Concert” is a dress rehearsal for the festival, where we step out of our comfort zone and test ourselves once more in competition. Spain awaits us in just a few weeks.

Shining T(t)ormis is a play on words: in the dark season one must always be visible in any weather, just as the beloved composer Veljo Tormis was highly visible in his lifetime. This year we celebrate his 95th anniversary.

As the name suggests, the Sweater Concert sets aside academic formality in performers’ attire. Saturday’s short concert concludes the singing camp that begins that same morning, and with feedback from our home audience we’ll make the final refinements before the trip. We’ll be delighted if you can spare about 30 minutes from your Saturday plans to join us.
