The grand Te Deum by Lithuanian composer Laurynas Vakaris Lopas is the centerpiece of the autumn concert jointly performed by the Estonian National Male Choir and the Tallinn Police Orchestra. In addition to Lopas’s harmonious and accessible music, the program includes arrangements by Police Orchestra chief conductor Riivo Jõgi of well-known choral works by Veljo Tormis, Ester Mägi, and Eduard Tubin.

Laurynas Vakaris Lopas, one of the influential figures in 20th-century Lithuanian music, is a highly regarded composer, conductor, and educator. His wide-ranging compositional output spans from vocal-symphonic pieces to popular and children's songs.

The Tallinn Police Orchestra is one of Estonia’s professional wind ensembles and a long-time collaborator of the Estonian National Male Choir. In addition to its full wind and percussion lineup, the orchestra features its own big band led by Siim Aimla, one of Estonia’s leading big band music figures, as well as smaller instrumental groups such as a dixieland ensemble, brass quintet, woodwind quintet, the all-female Naiss Quintet, saxophone quartet, and swing band.
