At the heart of the spring concerts’ program is Estonian choral music – works by composers such as Veljo Tormis, Mart Saar, and Cyrillus Kreek. The selections have been shaped by a springtime mood, which for the conductor means not only light and ease, but also freshness, renewal, and an inner sense of movement.
The program also deliberately includes restlessness and the feeling of being on a journey – searching, tension, and longing – deeply human states that accompany us in spring as well.
Complementing the Estonian music are works by Nordic composers, including Karin Rehnqvist, Jaakko Mäntyjärvi, and Hugo Alfvén.
Tickets €20/10, supporter ticket €30, available via Fienta and in cash at the venue if seats remain.
